What a Night! JESUS JESUS JESUS: A Citywide Call to Christ

While many of the events we attend are in partnership with our CROP (Community Radio Outreach Partner) members, there are also incredible opportunities through our KJIC Roadcrew. These events are often artist-focused—like concerts, revivals, or community shows—and our role may be to raise awareness about the station, support the artists we play and love, or sometimes both!

JESUS JESUS JESUS (J3): A Citywide Call to Christ was a brand new and completely unique opportunity for us. While we were thrilled to support familiar KJIC artists like Junior Gordon and Justin Gambino, the true purpose of J3 was simple, powerful, and centered on one name alone: Jesus.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is a week-long citywide call to Christ in Manvel, TX. Each night, people gathered to hear the gospel, share testimonies of God’s goodness, and celebrate the incredible sacrifice of our Lord and Savior. The event featured live performances from artists like We The Kingdom, Lecrae, and many more, and throughout the week, baptisms took place night after night as we celebrated the many lives being transformed.

Friday night’s event was a citywide call to reflect on and celebrate the Goodness of God through Country Music and a drone show.

We had the joy of serving as part of the Welcome Team for the event. Our Roadcrew met guests as they stepped off the shuttle buses, welcoming them with Jesus, Jesus, Jesus bracelets—each night featured a different color, and it was so fun to spot how many people had collected every single one, a beautiful sign that they had been part of the experience all week long. From there, we directed them toward all the excitement—FREE t-shirts, FREE food, and FREE entertainment. I absolutely LOVED watching their reactions as they realized what was waiting for them. From surprised smiles to heartfelt gratitude, it was clear this was more than just an event—it was a true gift to the community.

The music was moving and the messages were heartfelt. We heard performances and interviews from Justin Gambino, Sundance Head, Bri Bagwell, and Junior Gordon. Each one brought something special to the stage, sharing their faith and gifts with sincerity and passion. The night closed with an incredible drone show that visually told the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection—a powerful reminder of the Gospel and the hope we have in Him.

This was more than a concert. It was a community coming together to lift one name high—JESUS. And we’re so honored to have been a small part of it.

It's always fun to connect with friends and listeners when we are out!!
