In September 2025, the founder of Community Radio, Inc. and 90.5 KJIC, Robert Louis “Bob” Vaughn, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 82. More than four decades ago, God entrusted Bob with a vision — to establish a ministry that would share His Word through Christian Country music. His unwavering devotion to proclaiming the Gospel has brought comfort, encouragement, and the message of salvation in Jesus Christ to countless lives.

Bob’s legacy of faith continues to live on each day through this station and through all those whose lives he touched. We are deeply grateful for the life of a man who faithfully followed God’s calling and left behind a ministry that will continue shining the light of Christ for generations to come.
