Journey...(not the band)

Psalm 25:5 Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me.

All day long I put my hope in you.

We often focus on the end goal or the destination when we are going and doing.

When we travel we know the destination but while traveling if you are in the drivers seat you focus more on the road than the passengers would. They see more of the journey.

If we focus to much on the destination we can miss the journey.

In the old testament over and over again if the people who were called to make big moves would have only focused on the destination they would have missed all that God had for them or for those they were leading.

Since Jesus knew what the end destination was if He would have only come and said, ok I'm here for this and this alone and didn't also look at the journey before the end and what all He would have to do for the Lord, He would have missed so much and so would have we.

We all have a journey and some are difficult and some are easy but God is using every bit of it. So don't forget to stop and smell the roses, to stop and look at the sunrise or sunset. Just be sure to take it all in. God has placed it in front of you for a reason. The journey is just as important as the destination.
