We’re diving into a topic that’s so powerful and so personal—God coming through for us. We’ve all faced moments when life felt overwhelming, when we weren’t sure how things would work out, but then, in His perfect timing, God showed up and made a way.
You know, life isn’t always smooth sailing. We all face storms—times when it feels like everything’s falling apart and we’re not sure how we’re going to make it through. But here’s the amazing thing: even when we can’t see the way out, God is already working behind the scenes.
One of my favorite verses that captures this is Isaiah 41:10: “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” I pray this scripture when I am feeling overwhelmed because this verse is such a powerful reminder that God is always with us, especially in the tough times. He’s our strength, our support, and the one who holds us up when we feel like we’re sinking.
Maybe you’ve been in a situation where you didn’t know how things were going to work out and then, just when you needed it most, God showed up. I’ve had plenty of these moments. And it for sure didn’t end up the way I expected, but God made a way, and you came out stronger on the other side because God's ways are better than my ways and what He does exceeds any expectations or thought I had.
If you’re facing a challenge, remember that God is with you. He’s faithful, and He’s more than able to come through for you, no matter what you’re up against.
You know, one of the things I love most about hearing people’s stories is how often they include these amazing “God moments”—times when everything seemed impossible, but then God stepped in and turned things around.
One story that always inspires me is the story of Joseph in the Bible. Talk about a tough life! He was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and thrown into prison. It seemed like everything was against him. But in Genesis 50:20, Joseph says something remarkable: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” Even when it looked like Joseph’s life was falling apart, God had a plan, and in the end, He came through in a way that not only saved Joseph but also many others.
Maybe you’ve experienced something similar in your own life. For me I’ve had some uncertain moments and just seemed that nothing could go right or I was just weary and thought I couldn't handle any more, but then God turned it all around and it is those moments that remind us that no matter how bleak things look, God is always in control, and He has a plan for our good.
It is all these seemingly impossible moments that we can really see God is with us. It is also these moments that we share with others and those are apart of our testimony.
If you’re going through a tough time right now, take heart. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He’s working all things together for good, just like He did for Joseph, just like He’s done for so many others, and just like He’ll do for you.
Now, one thing we all know is that God’s timing isn’t always our timing, right? We might want things to happen right now, but sometimes God asks us to wait. And that waiting can be tough! But here’s the thing—God’s timing is always perfect, even when we can’t see it.
One verse that really speaks to this is Habakkuk 2:3: “This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.” This verse reminds us that God’s promises are sure. Even if it seems like things are taking forever, God is never late. He’s always right on time.
I know it’s hard to wait when you’re in the middle of a storm, but that’s when our faith grows. It’s in the waiting that we learn to trust God more deeply, to rely on His strength, and to see His faithfulness in ways we never could have imagined.
If you’re in a season of waiting right now, don’t lose heart. Keep trusting, keep believing, and keep holding on to God’s promises. He will come through for you, and when He does, it will be better than anything you could have planned for yourself.
Carry this with you everyday: God is with you, He will strengthen you and His timing is perfect.
