I had a memory pop up the other day from a year ago...
This is what I had written - My oldest (13 yrs at the time) is using the weed eater and he keeps having problems, smalls one. I would then go over and look at the weed eater and fix it and talk to him about it so he can learn and know how to use and fix it. We've done this about 3 or 4 times so far, and he is discouraged and wants to quit. I encouraged him to keep going and do the job he said he would do. As my child I want to help him, walk with him, teach him, guide him, and encourage him.
God is like this with us. He wants to walk with us and help us fix and tweak and be able to do the job He has set before us. God is always with us, willing to help us in all situations.
What a great memory... and now when my son does the yard work, he has very little problems using the weed eater and finding a solution when a problem comes up. Sure he still will come to my husband and I when he needs help and we will do just that, help.
All of this reminds me of what Psalm 32:8 says - The Lord says, I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.
God will equip us with the tools needed and teach us how to use them, if need be, so we can do what it is He has called us to. He will also continually walk with us as we move forward and help us when needed.
