REST

How can we rest when there is so much to do? It's hard to turn everything off and take that time without feeling guilty. But God said for us to rest and in Matthew 11:28, Jesus said, come to me, all you are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

God demonstrated this rest after creating EVERYTHING. Jesus demonstrated rest in Mark 6 when He told the disciples that they all needed to go and rest because so many people were coming and going to them to hear the gospel.

Rest is not something to feel guilty about, rest is something that is necessary to keep our hearts and minds clear and focused on God.

When life is to heavy it can feel a little debilitating and we can feel so helpless. Jesus is here to help the helpless to take our burdens and let us stand on His frim foundation.

Jesus wants to carry the weight of your circumstances so we can rest and carry a lighter load. Let God be your hiding place and rest assured knowing He will carry you and all your circumstances.
