Did you know that you are a letter that everybody reads. It's true. I imagine you've heard the saying that you may be the only Bible someone reads today....
In 2 Corinthians 3:2,3 The Disciples said ," You, yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody. You show that you are a letter from Christ, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the Living God not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of the human heart."
I think there are a lot of really cool Christian T-shirts and I have several myself that are favorites. But this isn't talking about clothing being the message....it's saying YOU are the message/letter that is telling others about Jesus. I don't know about you, but sometimes I get very careful if I'm wearing a Jesus T-shirt....so I don't send the wrong message while wearing the shirt. But....I am - you are...the message. The letter written on the heart not in ink but Jesus' blood. He paid the postage (so to speak) so that we can be that letter in the lives of those we love, and live with and for those that we interact with at work, at the ballfield or at the grocery store.
I want to be that letter today. How about you?
