First Responder Prayer Day

We thank you for your mercy upon us. Heavenly Father, we lift up those who put themselves in harm's way every day to protect the lives of others. Your word says, "There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends," so we ask that you protect these brave individuals in the line of duty. We also pray for their families, that they may find strength and comfort in you during challenging times. Lastly, Lord, we pray for those who have not yet committed their lives to you, that you would soften their hearts and open their ears to hear the saving hope found in Jesus Christ. Father, we love you, and we pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
