BEAR or BE A Resource is a non-profit organization that improves lives by providing hope and help to at-risk and CPS-involved children and their caretakers in the greater Houston area. BEAR operates four programs to support its mission: BEAR Necessities, BEAR Back to School, BEARing Gifts, and the Heart Gallery of Greater Houston. Each program is designed to support and nurture at-risk children and teens involved with Child Protective Services (CPS).
