You have certain God given talents and abilities without even knowing it. And it's all by design.



"Colonel" Harland Sanders didn't start off selling Kentucky Fried Chicken from the get-go. He had a number of failed businesses before that. It wasn't until he opened an unassuming gas station that served home-made fried chicken on the side in 1930 (at the age of 40) that his other failed business, personal and civic dealings actually had been laying the groundwork the entire time for him to finally become successful.


You might very well have an inherent talent or specialized knowledge that won't become relevant (and useful) until much later in life. You might have studied psychology courses in college, only to become a counselor later in life. Or in my own personal case, an upbringing around broadcast, amateur radio and electronics that has served me well...leading to a career in broadcast, with the opportunity to minister to others. But with 15+ years in Graphic Design and having been saved in 1998 prior to that, I had no idea where all of this would lead to...but God did.


Romans 12:6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith.
