Word of mouth advertising

Have you ever had a favor or nice gesture done for you by someone you know and wanted to share it with your friends, family or the world? That's how giving testimony of God's impact on your life should be.
When you give a testimony, you're doing number of things: You're reinforcing your own faith. The very act of passing on what God has done for you, establishes your level of faith in and of itself.
You're also proclaiming to the world that you're not ashamed of believing in and having faith in our Heavenly Father. You're giving credit where credit is due.
2 Timothy 2:15 "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."
Matthew 10:32 "Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven."
And likewise, the very act of giving a testimony could very well witness to someone without you realizing it. There's nothing quite as powerful as relaying a real world, tangible example of God's hand in our life. It could be that new job at the right time, or a medical condition healed, or assistance in any area of your life that you didn't expect.
Nothing beats word of mouth advertising.
Psalm 66:16 "Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul."
