We should let God finish what He started in our lives.

Imagine that you have your car in the shop for an engine rebuild. After they've completed over 50% of the work, to save money, you decide to take the car back home to your garage and (attempt) to finish it on you own. You've watched some YouTube videos and have some reasonably decent tools. What could possibly go wrong? The same thing occurs in life, we obviously trust God in the first place to even ask Him to intervene....yet, we get impatient that He's not going fast enough for our liking. Or, worse, we *think* we know what He's going to do next...so we take the reins back from Him, often to disastrous results. We wouldn't do that with our car, why then would we do that in life..? God always keeps His promises and He is the master mechanic. If we trust Him with an issue in our lives, we should trust Him 100%...
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
