We should never be above learning from God
Updated: Apr 12

No matter the title we hold, the degrees we have or how many books we've read, will we never be too smart to not need God in our lives. Think about that favorite teacher you might have had in school that seemed to have all the answers on the subject they taught. I remember a beloved drafting teacher who wasn't too proud or accomplished to be above asking about something. The fact he could do this gave him even more credibility. The same thing applies to us as Christians. We should never be too proud or well-versed to be above asking about the meaning of something. That is the difference between wisdom and knowledge. James 1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
Jesus was known as the Great Teacher, for good reason.
Matthew 7:28-29 "And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes."
We'll always have a lot to learn from Him.
