I have to try and not lean on my own understanding because my reality is not God's. Isaiah 55:8, NIV “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. (Psalm 42:11 TLB) But, O my soul, don't be discouraged. Don't be upset. Expect God to act! For I know that I shall again have plenty of reason to praise Him for all that He will do. He is my help! He is my God!
Faith is thanking God in advance. Jesus said, “When you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for” (Mark 11:24). You say, “Wait a minute! I've got to thank God in advance before I get it in order to get it?” Yes.
Let's praise God for all He has done, and for what He didn't do.
For His divine connections and divine disconnections.
Trust Him because He knows what is best. Let's praise Him in advance for providing and protecting us.
God can shut a door because He is a good father, and He knows the future and wants the best for you.
He may not open a door because He could have a better door instore.
He could be preparing you for what you are praying for.
Regardless, we must praise Him and trust Him with outlives.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Psalm 52:8, NIV I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.
God will supply all your needs.
Philippians 4:6-7, NIV Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
