Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
In the bible we see clearly that there were men who were called of God to do a task. Like Noah for example. Thank God Noah did not listened to all the negative voices of the all the people who thought he had lost his mind. Genesis 6:22 So Noah listened to God, and he built the ark. He did everything God asked him to do.
Look at David, his brothers saw a shepherd boy, but God saw a King!
David's brothers did not see his worth, but they only saw a kid that didn't know much other than watching over the sheep. God adored David and saw his heart. He took a kid working in the pasture and anointed him to be king and he became the lineage of Jesus.
Let's Allow God to define who we are & who we become.
Family and those closest to us can do more harm to our heart than random strangers.
We tend to take their words to heart. But remember if God gives you a purpose and a vision to do a task, listen and obey God. There is a reason why God gave that to you and not to anyone else.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
Imagine you are standing before God on that great day of judgement, & God asks you why you didn't do what I put in your heart to do and to accomplish? Imagine saying to God, "because there were some people who didn't think I was qualified!"
Sometimes it's best not to share every detail of our dreams, visions, & ideas with others. Sometimes jealousy might be a factor, or maybe they don't see what Gods in you. So many of our friends and loved ones have good intentions. They love us, and maybe they are just trying to protect us from feeling defeat or failure. I wonder how many great inventions were never invented because someone shot their idea down, and so they didn't even try?
If God gives you a talent use it and cultivate it for His glory.
If God calls you to a purpose, He will make a way for you.
If God Brings...He Will Bring You Through It If God brings - I know that it is God who has brought me into this and am certain that He will bring me through each and every situation. He is a God who is alongside us; supporting and strengthening all the way.
