Keep On Running The Race

Philippians 3:14

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Matt. 11 Verses 28 to 30

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

These are a few verses that have been speaking to me lately.

I know that in a 100 years from now we will be rejoicing and running around streets of gold for eternity. For now, we must do our best to continue run this race. I know that life can feel overwhelming at times. I pray that God will give us strength not just so we can run this race, but that we may be a light and show the love of Christ to the lost and hurting. God he has a plan for our lives, and it could be that God is putting you right where He wants you so you can be used of Him.

I heard a testimony of a friend who had cancer and his big question at first was why. But during his treatments he was able to pray & encourage many who were there needing prayer as well. You just never know why God allows things to happen. You may be in a place that you are also questioning, but maybe you can reach people that many can't.

Our goal is not just to make it to Heaven, but to help others make it as well. God didn't save and bless us to keep it all to ourselves. He wants us to tell others how God has saved and changed our lives. Let's pray that we can help encourage who are weary on life's journey.

John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
