God sees our self-worth even when the world doesn't

Keeping up with the Jones's is a phrase that's taken on new meaning over the past 15 or so years. The internet and social media has changed how we perceive ourselves. If we live for the world's confirmation, we're chasing a moving goal post. If we live for our Heavenly Father, we know that He sees us for our true value and worth.

1 Samuel 16:7 "...For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

And too often our self-esteem is based on what society thinks of us. If we live in the Word and for our Heavenly Father, we are promised things which the world can never fulfill.

1 Corinthians 3:11 "For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ."
