God's role changes in our old age

The majority of us are completely different people than we were in our youth. Our responsibilities are different. I know my life changed drastically from when I was saved in the late 90's to just 5-10 years later (parenthood, etc) so did my needs and provisions (wisdom and so on..) I asked for from our Heavenly Father.
Isaiah 46:4 "Even to your old age I am He, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save."
Our lives will undoubtedly change and what we ask for will, but God won't. Regardless, we're expected to gain wisdom and maturity along the way.
Titus 2:2-3 "Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good..."
And nostalgia has it's place but we're to expected to always look ahead. That's where wisdom lies.
Ecclesiastes 7:10 "Say not, 'Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask this.'"
If we've lived our lives right according to scripture, we've earned our grey hairs...
Proverbs 16:31 "Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life."
