God provides...even after hours

Often times, we get so wrapped up in our day to day struggles that we simply forget/are too busy/too overwhelmed to ask our Heavenly Father to intervene and provide for us, that our lack of action, ironically, leads us back to praying for His assistance even more. We can get in the way of ourselves.

Ephesians 3:20 "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us..."

Just recently with the prospect of yet another repair on our home, an unexpected check showed up in the mailbox. The real irony is that it was in response to one of the weakest prayers I'd made "to please help with whatever I might be forgetting..." It occurs to me that He'd heard that one. Sometimes the smallest, quietest prayers are the loudest to Him.

1 John 5:14 "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us."

Our Heavenly Father is watchful at all times to our plight...even when we don't realize He's watchful and listening.

Matthew 6:8 "For your Father knows what you need before you ask him."

We should remain confident that God has our backs all of the time, not just some of the time.
