God keeps His promises. We even have it in writing
Updated: Apr 20

I'm sure we've all been let down by that home improvement contractor who happily takes our money...and then doesn't complete a job. Or that used car dealer we bought a car from...that doesn't quite do what they claimed they would. Broken promises, unfortunately, are a part of life. Thankfully, our Heavenly Father keeps his word, when the world all too often doesn't keep theirs.
Psalm 89:34 "I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips."
Joshua 21:45 "Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass."
And also, God doesn't have the limitations that mankind has. We grow tired, tending to our responsibilities. More often than not, even the most reliable people have times when they simply can't keep a commitment. God doesn't have that restriction.
John 15:7-8 "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples."
For once, it's nice to have a contract in writing that's adhered to. God keeps His word.
