Yes, it is hot. Yes, summertime has arrived. The weather by no means is trivial, but there is a lot more going on. God is still taking care of His people and still inviting those on the outside to come in. We are so blessed to be a tool in the hands of the Lord. To be used by God to invite the lost and to minister to the saints does bring great satisfaction. You, as you support Gospel Music Radio, have a very real part in this work. Brothers and sisters like you—as you are lead by the Lord—have touched lives countless times through your prayers and support. Thanks!

We have finished step one in our expansion program—readying our tower for the change. Step two is the big one. We are still raising funds for that, and have quite a ways to go. The new transmitter will cost about $65,000. The new transmission line about $20,000 and the new antenna about $15,000. As you are able to give, your help is needed. Your gift small or large will be in the Lord’s service for many years to come. This equipment should easily last 20+ years. Where else can your dollars do so much for so long?

KJIC ministers to about 25,000 listeners each week. That number should at least double after the expansion. As you give towards this expansion you will surely have part in ministry to these many thousands. Perchance God has so prospered you that you could fund this expansion, or purchase a piece of the necessary equipment, or be one of the hundreds who through their combined gifts help bring this ministry to many more thousands for many more years.

WHO WE ARE

Community Radio, Inc is a non-profit corporation in the state of Texas since 1978. Board members are all zealous for the Lord Jesus and for this ministry. We are also recognized by the IRS as a 501 c 3 charitable organization. This makes all gifts to the ministry tax deductible.

We are licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to operate KJIC as a non-commercial FM station.

We are Christians in our religious persuasion, not separated by denominational barriers. We believe in the one God of the Holy Bible, manifest as the heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in salvation from the guilt and power of sin by God's favor, through our faith, to enable us to do good works. We believe King Jesus will return to bless the saints and judge the world.

It's our desire to be used by God in ministry to others. We hope to bring comfort, encouragement, and spiritual strength to the church, and "light" to those in darkness. We hope to be used by Him.

We broadcast His Word by radio, print, the internet, conversation, or any other means available to us. We do this with expectation.

OUR FORMAT

We are traditional gospel music radio. Most hours we do play two programs 1 to 5 minutes in length, but you are never far from music. Our music points to Jesus and all that He has provided, and to our celebration of life in Him.
